Arsenal Striker Giroud Delighted To Make Return Ahead Of Schedule

The French international striker is back in the fold almost two months earlier than expected.

And Giroud said: “I worked hard to come back especially for the Manchester United game last week.

“It was always my target, since the beginning of the injury. I didn’t tell anyone.

“Maybe I should have said something. But anyway, I am really pleased to come back earlier.

“When you are injured you cannot help your team-mates and it has been really frustrating for me.

“I want to win more and we can do it. We can do big things with this team. I think we have a good understanding, particularly with the new players.”
