Ensuing from Wizkid’s international deal with Sony , the singer is facing some limitations in regards to putting out local content on the internet, which is why his latest and number one trending “Manya” video was taken off YouTube.
The song “Manya” which is popularly believed to be owned by the Starboy Worldwide Chief, was actually released as a product of Mutay of Legendary Beatz. The video of the song was initially on Starboy’s channel instead of Wizkid. Even at that, the song is no longer on Starboy’s YouTube channel but on Mutay’s YouTube channel where it’s hardly viewed.
It is said that Wizkid’s international deal with Sony poses some limitation to the amount of local content he can release. Drawing facts from that, this incident could be a consequence of Wizkid not getting due approval from his international associates to put out the song. The song was number one trending song before it was taken down.
But right now, if you search for the video, the chances are that you would not find it on the Starboy’s YouTube account nor on Wizkid’s VEVO. It’s really beginning to be clear why Davido bailed out on his deal with Sony .
