Real Madrid To Sell Marco Reus and Bale To Fund Move For Aguero

Real Madrid could be set to seal one of the most fascinating transfer deals in the history of football after it was revealed they are preparing to sell stars Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to fund moves for Sergio Aguero and Marco Reus.

Bale has been continuously linked with a return to England having signed for Los Blancos for a record £90m in 2013, with Manchester United reportedly interested in the Welsh winger. Benzema has also been linked with the Premier League, with Liverpool once rumoured to be showing an interest.

According to the Express, Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to let the duo leave the Bernabeu in order to secure the funding to bring Manchester City star Aguero and Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus to La Liga.

Argentina international Aguero has been in spectacular form this season, scoring 14 league goals and five in the Champions League.

Despite recently being sidelined for up to six weeks, interest in the striker is high, and Real are hoping to tempt City into selling.

The European Champions tried to sign the 26-year-old when he played for city rivals Atletico, but the LA Liga champions refused to do business with Real.

Reus looks likely to leave Dortmund this summer, with his reluctance to sign a new deal set to trigger a £19m release clause.

Reports have already suggested that the winger is learning Spanish ahead of a move to Madrid.
