A giant record as tallest-ever cow Blosom who was almost 6ft 3in dies.
Guinness World Records today paid tribute to Blosom, the world’s tallest cow who has died aged 13.
The Holstein, who became a family pet, towered over her American owner Patty Meads-Hanson at a height of nearly 6ft 3in.
Blosom was first recognised as the tallest living cow after Guinness World Records visited her home in Orangeville, Illinois, in May last year.
Sadly, she passed away last month after an “irreparable” leg injury.
Following further research, Guinness World Records yesterday confirmed Blosom is now recognised as the tallest cow ever.
Owner Patty said: “The funny thing was how unaffected she was by all the attention.
“As long as she had her oats, daily chin rubs and ear scratches, life was good.”
